Creative dance workshops for everyone
If you live in Antwerp and love dancing, movement, and connection, then Urban Ritual—a series of creative dance workshops—is for you! Guided by a diverse group of choreographers, you will learn to combine different dance forms, ranging from contemporary improvisation and urban dance to traditional movement.
Together, we explore movement, gesture, and physical and theatrical play around themes such as community, sharing space, power, and individual expression. Participants are invited to explore their own stories and emotions, transforming personal experiences into movement.
We conclude the workshops with Urban Ritual, a performance in the heart of the city during the Beyond the Black Box Festival in May. Everyone takes part with their own role, guiding the audience through a journey of different atmospheres and emotions.
